An album of missed opportunities
Concomitant of my Flickr project.
being chased upon an Ikea restaurant by his inflamed mother, who is struggling to grab her son, whilst carrying a large, ostentatious handbag. The child has a rapturous expression on his face. Shot from a low angle, in black and white, with the child framed left and his mother in pursuit on the right.
facing away from me, as she walked toward a grocery store during a wind storm. To the right of the frame, two Army Cadets in full uniform who are no more than eleven years ago. To the left of the frame, an elderly and his wife. Photo taken just as gust of wind lifts the skirt above her waist, revealing black undergarments, and consequently drops the jaws of both young boys and the old man.
laying on the flooring of a crowded electronics store, clinging to his unaffected father’s leg as he demands the purchase of an X-Box game.
A mugshot of the overweight middle-aged women in pink trackpants and a grey hooded sweatshirt who attempted to steal my book bag.
A slender man in the early thirties, dressed in tattered navy mechanic’s overalls, brown and black wellington’s, aviator sunglasses and with unkempt dirty blonde hair, leaning against a Canada Post box in olde Orangeville, flipping through a pornographic magazine.
A bespectacled, balding, middle aged men, sitting on an easychair in the Orangeville public library, reading a book entitled Samurai Fighting Arts, with a small stack of other books on martial arts on the table before him.
Gratuitous “bokeh” shot of Whitby, Ontario skylight, taken with my SMC Takumar 1.4/50mm prime lens, for twirps on Flickr to get excited about.
The Orangeville public library, late on a Friday afternoon. A teenaged Emo girl is bent at waist over a motley armchair, doing nothing in particular, exposing the harness of her thongs underpants. To the left of the frame is a short man approximately seventy-five years of age, wearing a full-length parka and a hunting cap, with his eyes fixated on the afformationed exposure. At the right of the frame is an overweight Emo girl, her arms crossed, scowling at the sight.
A family of four, pushing their BMV SUV down a Brampton side street that had been made slick and impassable by ice and slush, during a moderate snowfall. This shot would have been taken in infrared as I passed them in my Cavalier, which is fitted with balding all-season tires.
An Orangeville Police officer, with an obxious handlebar moustache, questioning a lanky punk of about seventeen years of age with a flucid, black mohawk, late in the afternooon, outside of Mill Street Library in Orangeville. The teen’s posture read tough-guy, yet his face was clearly inscribed with fear. In the background, three police cruisers and various police officers questioning other teens. I missed the incident that resulted in the summoning of the police, however did hear some commotion on the street prior to their arrival. From what I gather, some words were exchanged and a snowball was thrown at a passing car. Hardly a reason to get the police involved, let alone one requiring a significant portion of the local constabulary.
